Darcy agreed to go to the Halloween party dressed as a glittery fairy only because Kayla asked her nicely. Darcy hated parties, crowds, the whole lot. The night brought Darcy onto the patio with her Canon AE-1 in hand to snap some photos of the night sky. There, Gem stopped her heart, then stole it.

Gem would introduce Darcy to a world of magick and unlimited potential, teaching her things that Darcy never knew were possible through Wicca. True, genuine, ancient witchcraft brought her imagination to life before her eyes.

The only problem was that Gem's actions violated the Coven's code of secrecy, among others. With the Coven after them, Darcy and Gem flee for their safety, and their freedom. But they can't stay on the run forever. Darcy and Gem must find a way to earn the coven's acceptance and secure their futures together, one way or another.
