Abby Turner had spent her entire life in The Middle's company orphanage, nested with the confines on a massive mothership and now, as a young woman , she was beginning to crave her own path. The orphanage had offered a choice: she could leave to start anew or stay and work with the company. She and her friends had been planning their departure, dreaming of freedom from this pesky society and the lives they could build beyond the ship's walls.
However, the company had other plans. To Abby's shock, her request to exit was denied. Confusion washed over her- why were they blocking her departure when others could leave without any problem? Determined to uncover the truth, Abby began to dig deeper. What she unearthed was a dark secret that threatened to upend everything she thought she knew about herself.

Now faced with a chilling revelation, Abby stood at a crossroads. What would she do next? Would she find a way to escape the suffocating grip of the orphanage on her own terms? The choices she could make were daunting, but one thing was clear: her life would never be the same again.

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy. His Last Song- "Ji'de Tas Anse" by DianDianSian

A world once run by humans is now a cold, barren, and toxic wasteland filled with vicious, mutant, and flesh-eating animals; as a result of an unpredicted showering of meteors. The world population is unknown due to the complete shutdown of the media, but the number of inhabitants of the once populous African island, Hardane, has fallen to a number near zero. Two people, a famous Korean singer and a Japanese-African emerging artist, meet by chance as they embark on their separate journeys to traverse their new world. Song Byeong-ho starts his journey with the notion of finding somewhere calm to spend his last days, while Itsuki Uta-ﻃَﺎﺋِﺮ (taa'ir) starts his journey with the notion of finding his lost grandparents. Due to his somber past, Song is skeptical of Itsuki at first; but as their journeys progress, the new demands and horrors of their world pushes them closer. As Song and Itsuki traverse their new world together, they race against death and time. (This is a story of loss and finding a bit more than friendly love in the darkest of places.) - - Heads up! This book deals with parental neglect, parental trauma, mild system fake claiming, mentions of suicide, and much more. This book also dives into plurality; which is the experience of having multiple beings in one body. DID, OSDD, and a few other dissociative disorders fall under that label. DID and OSDD are formed due to intense trauma--and not what the outside perceived as intended trauma, it's what the individual(s) perceive as intense trauma. Plurality also encompasses much more than just dissociative disorders since this experience is not rare. !!Still being uploaded!!
