After months of unsuccessful searches to find her missing childhood friend, Eun-ji comes across a mysterious business card adorned with a symbol and a number. In composing the latter, an intriguing proposal is made to her : participate in a game with colossal stakes, with the key of an astronomical sum that could change her life. Convinced that her friend has followed this path, she accepts the invitation.

But what is heralded as a one-time chance quickly turns into a nightmare. In an isolated place, under the authority of a masked man known as the Front Man, trials follow one another, each more merciless than the other. Strangely, an unexpected help appears: letters and enigmatic clues allow her to evade the traps, often at the cost of terrible sacrifices.

As a new player, the mysterious number 001, enters the game, alliances are formed and broken. Between the search for truth and survival, the boundaries between good and evil are blurred. In this game where everything is just appearances, the Front Man himself begins to doubt: what if this competition was only an illusion, a piece of a more sinister puzzle? What if his attraction to Eun-ji could change his vision of this deadly game?
