Mechara may not be an actual world out there in our world, but to the beings of Mechara...our world may not be an actual world out there, either.
This story is one of adventure. Life. Friendship, relationships. Twists and turns. About a sweet and kind girl who works in a bakery who decides to take a chance on doing 'bigger and better' things with her existence.
Lyra Starora Drakalynn is one of the humans of Mechara with a story to tell about her world and the adventure she risked to take. Where the people in SteelCrest are so advanced... they are able to mix liquid metal into the bloodstream... to not only allow the human body to have features of the creature of your chosing... but to also enhance and give you abilities you have never seen in real life before! What do you do with this new form of look and power, you may ask? Well, you'd want to do what any kind being would want to do! Explore, see what's really out there, experience, help people... and why keep it to only the world you were born on when you can travel by spacecraft to go and help ANY other world, planet, in the entire universe?!
Just sign some papers, sign the program contract, run by the corporations that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. What could go wrong, right?

Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. "Yes, however, this mission did not require your presence nor your opinion," he replies candidly. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license.
