It's been 20 years since Maxon and America were married. It's been 18 since they had their first kid, Jason. It's been 17 since the caste system was dissolved. Now the first of four selections are taking place. 35 girls, one from each province, are the competitors. One of them is Kealee Plothe from the Nebraska province. As she and Cecilia Williams from the Oklahoma province become best friends, her relationship with Jason blossoms. It starts to get uglier as it goes on though.
