In the shadow of World War II, amidst the turmoil of Nazi-occupied France, a young and determined nurse named Agnes Schröder finds herself thrust into a life she never imagined. Initially devoted to healing the wounded and providing solace in a german academy, her world takes a sharp turn when she witnesses the brutalities of the Nazi regime firsthand. The atrocities fuel a fire within her, and when an opportunity arises to join a covert resistance group, she makes the perilous decision to fight back.  

Agnes' medical skills quickly prove invaluable to the resistance, but she soon discovers that her role extends far beyond tending to the injured. As she learns the art of espionage and sabotage, she gains the trust of the group's leader, Aldo Raine, a rough but charismatic figure with a talent for inspiring his ragtag team of freedom fighters. This group, known as "The Bastards," operates with ruthless efficiency, carrying out missions designed to disrupt Nazi operations and inspire hope among the oppressed.
