Kate Nelson thought she had her life figured out, until her world collided with a world that was chaotic and crazy.
The world she lived in was a world of magic, peace, and fairies. They are the same size as humans, but have bird-like wings and magic abilities. But the human world is chaotic and driven by fossil fuels.
She doesn't know what happened to some of her friends and family (does she even want to know?). Her only connection comes when her old guy friends ask her to join them in the rebellion.
Kate must figure out how to survive, and not lose herself in the process.
