Summer Rain

When I was 8 years old I moved to a new town; a new school with my mother. It was just me and her. No one else. Things escalated overtime, a boy who was my childhood bestfriend during the summer, hated me during the school hours. In the summer it was just me, my mom, and him. No one else. I grew up, I want to land a career in marine biology. It was just me and that. And no one else. He never left. That's not always a good thing. And no one else except I remained when the last drop of marrow was rotten to the bone. That's where my story lies.
