When Ladybug defeats Hawkmoth, she feels the weight of the world lift off her shoulders. Free to leave Paris and her class behind, applies to a new school. Her parents hugged her when they got the call. The Dupain-Cheng's waste no time, they pack their bags, lease the bakery, and move to Gotham, New Jersey. There, Marinette gets a fresh start in a new school.
