Emily assigns a task for everyone in the group; they have to write about their life in rehab for the next 30 days. The goal is to finish the book, proving that you have been clean for 30 days, and read the book to your support system at "graduation." Struggling, Nick fears his book will not be finished due to his lack of self control.
