This isn't just a continuation.
This is the part I kept in the dark.
The poems I was too scared to share, the ones I wrote when no one was looking.
They've been sitting quietly for a while, waiting for the right moment.
And that moment is now.

I've always believed in trusting my instincts. They've never let me down, and this time was no different.
Something in me kept whispering, "Let them see this part too."
So I listened. And now, I'm letting go of the words I once held too close.

This Deluxe version - titled Reverberation - is made up of echoes.
Echoes of pain, of healing, of moments that didn't fit into the original, but never stopped ringing in my mind and heart.
Think of this as the second breath. The quiet after the storm.
Or maybe, the storm that kept coming even after I thought I'd survived it.

It's more vulnerable. A little messier. A little braver.
These are the pieces I didn't think anyone would ever read.
But something told me: "Just put it out there. Let it exist. Let it speak."
And I'm glad I did.

If you've read Echoes of Mind and Heart before, thank you - truly.
Your support and love meant more than you probably realized.
This one is for you. And for me. And for everything we thought we had to hide to be strong.

Welcome to Reverberation.
I hope you feel it not just read it.

I used to think I was living the life people only dream about. Everything looked perfect on the outside - the smiles, the success, the routine that gave me comfort. I had the freedom, the admiration, and the illusion of happiness. I truly believed that this was it - the life I had worked so hard to build, the one everyone else wished they had. But then he came into my world - unexpected and uninvited, like a storm that doesn't ask permission before it breaks everything in its path. He was unlike anyone I had ever met. A man cloaked in mystery, always quiet, always observing, like he carried the weight of a thousand secrets. People knew his name, admired him from a distance, but no one really knew him. And he liked it that way. He wasn't kind in the way the world expects. He wasn't soft or gentle. He didn't chase approval, and he didn't waste time pretending. His world was cold and guarded - his heart only opening for the few he truly cared about: his family, and the rare souls he dared to love. And yet, somehow, I was drawn to him. Not just to his mystery, but to the way he made me feel - like I was no longer the polished, perfect version of myself I had grown so used to pretending to be. Around him, the mask I wore for years slowly cracked. I started seeing pieces of myself I didn't know existed. He turned my world upside down. He didn't just make me feel - he made me question everything. Who I was. What I wanted. Who I was pretending to be. I became someone I no longer recognized - not the girl with the perfect life, but someone raw, confused, aching for something real. He didn't just enter my life. He changed it. He changed me.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. In the years that followed, things only got worse. The abuse started gradually-a harsh word here, a shove there-but it escalated, leaving scars that I carried long after the physical pain faded. I was drowning in my own despair, struggling to keep my head above water while my father's anger raged like a storm around me. I only had a break from his anger when I started living with Aunt Dina-my mom's older sister. Well, that was because she found me nearly dead on my bed after I took a dozen pills. I was tired of living. I had hit rock bottom. The harsh whispers that followed me around and the stares at school. I pretended not to notice, like it didn't bother me. But it did. I was alone. Then came Athalia, a ray of sunshine cutting through my darkness. With her, I felt something I hadn't felt in years-happiness. She became my light through the darkness and my lifeline. ••••••••••• ● Warnings ⚠️ ~ Mention of suicide ~ Anxiety attacks ~ Rape attempt ~ Mention of self-harm ~ Depression

Death Is My BFFLAD (Book Two Original Series) by katrocks247

(Bfflad- Best friends for life and death) Dear Reader, Let's start at the beginning shall we? I died. Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped working, my soul began to lift away... And then I was saved by a beautiful man with a kind heart and sparkles sprinkled around his head in a golden halo. A cunning, dazzling smile etched his angled features and his hair lay perfectly on his head like...black, sinful layers of pure cynical distrusting evil. Evil that was just waiting to onset a innocent girl as myself and allow her a short amount of time of happiness, and then finish her off when she became older. I'll give you a hint. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. Hope for you. Death is close. Art of Letting Go by OfficiallyLun

" Let your heart grief, It's okay. It will heal eventually." Art of Letting Go captures the raw and authentic emotions of moments, a roller-coaster of feelings, and a definition of life to choose not to give up. This book was to give people a chance to relate themselves to the pages and dip themselves with emotions that involve grief, loss, heartache, abuse, and feeling lost in life. A glimpse of these pages may change someone's life by giving them purpose of hope and shed light in the darkest of their hearts. I wrote the "Art of Letting Go" about 3 years ago without an end because I never knew how to moved on from a chapter that felt like a never-ending cycle. I left the story feeling like it was untold. I found hope and my transfiguration in life to help others in search of the light again. In the experiences, challenges, and struggles that I faced over the years, I had to give this book an ending it deserved. We deserve closure, we deserve our voices and stories to be heard and to be told. After 3 years, I came back to finish a story that needed to be closed and a chapter in my life that needed to heal. I realized that I struggled to finish this because there were parts of myself that couldn't heal from the past. I struggled to break free from the pain and it always kept coming back. I was really lost at some point in life and I came back to re-reading my poems and reflected in them. I found pieces of myself, teaching me that I was already in the process of healing all along. I was fighting all this time. I was resilient from all the storms that I've endured. My point is, YOU are too. Whatever you are going through, your storms will wither away and you will find your ray of light again.

They say love begins in silence. But what happens when the silence lasts too long? This is not a love story about happily ever afters. This is a story about almosts- About late-night conversations that stopped just short of meaning something. About eye contacts that promised more, but always ended in friendship. In Part 1, she loved him quietly. In Part 2, she starts to speak- but still, he doesn't listen the way she hoped. She tries to become his safe place. She tries to heal his fear of attachment. She tries to read his mind, hold his hand without holding it, and love him in a way that feels patient-not desperate. But the more she hopes, the more she drowns. This is the continuation of a one-sided love story that became too heavy to carry. A confession soaked in unsent messages, mixed signals, and a storm of emotions that never found a home. Sometimes, loving someone means letting go. Sometimes, silence is louder than goodbye.
