A dreamlike and gothic novel that develops philosophical and religious ideas through Asha's journey. From a distressing, almost absolute bewilderment, through the necessary personal development and the improvement of virtues. To the acceptance of reality, the subsequent overcoming of trauma and finally redemption, both personal and of others.

It is a fantasy novel, although it partially uses historical settings to develop the plot, and its moral background is consistent with theology and Christian doctrine. Its main influences are: The Divine Comedy, Alice in Wonderland, The Lord of the Rings, Legends (by Gustavo Adolfo BΓ©cquer), among many others.

It develops themes related to death, love, war, hatred and forgiveness, through a language that tries to place the characters in a historical and cultural context typical of the Spanish Middle Ages.
