Adopted By My Step Brothers
Cause of death? You guessed it. Both drug overdose. If you ask me they did it on purpose. They didn't love me enough to stay here and care for me. I guess 17 years was too long to raise a kid because they now left me in the care of my arrogant, controlling, sexy step brothers. Once that judge made the finally call and announced that those Devils were my guardians for the next two years I knew my life as I knew it was over. CAUTION: Mild sexual situations, profanity and adult situations take place in this story so I ask for only mature and 18+ readers. **CURRENLTY UNDER rewrite.***Concluida
Decadent
My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Concluida

RUNNING BACK
I have a lot of secrets. Trying out for my new school's football team disguised as a boy is only the beginning. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm developing a disturbing crush on a teammate. But that's not my worst secret. Nobody here knows I have a twin brother named Pax. Or that he died last year. And that I might be delusional because I see him and hear him, everywhere. Or maybe it's the guilt that haunts me. Because I know deep down that my father is the one who killed him. And keeping that secret somehow makes me complicit. But my biggest secret of all is that I'm afraid that I'll never be able to forgive my dad for Pax's death. Until I can put that ghost to rest, my brother's spirit will be forever lost in the liminal space between this world and the next. And I am lost in this world without him.Concluida
