Charleen "Charlie" Yarrow, a Slytherin student at Hogwarts, walks a dangerous line between loyalty and deception. Born from a pureblood family, but raised as a muggle. Surrounded by the scions of dark wizarding bloodlines, she has always felt like an outsider. Her friendships with Regulus Black, Evan Rosier, and Barty Crouch Jr. strain as she questions their loyalty and her own morality.

With the threat of exposure growing and her stepbrother Lance falling under the influence of pureblood ideology, Charlie is forced to choose: protect her family or stop Voldemort from within. As trust erodes and sacrifices mount, she must decide just how far she is willing to go to protect those she loves-before both sides turn against her.
