There's an old voice in my head that's holding me back Well tell her that I miss our little talks Soon it will be over and buried with our past We used to play outside when we were young And full of life and full of love. Some days I feel like I'm wrong when I'm right Your mind is playing tricks on you, my dear You're gone, gone, gone away I watched you disappear All that's left is the ghost of you. Now we're torn, torn, torn apart, There's nothing we can do Just let me go we'll meet again soon Now wait, wait, wait for me Please hang around I'll see you when I fall asleep Don't listen to a word I say The screams all sound the same Though the truth may vary This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore p.s:this is like the first story I have ever really posted...so disregard any mistakes and such

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
