Aurora's point of view:

I stand in front of the mirror, admiring my reflection. The golden locks cascading down my shoulders, the piercing blue eyes that seem to hold a thousand secrets, the porcelain skin that looks as soft as silk. I am a vision of perfection, an angelic beauty that could stop hearts with just a glance.

But beneath this facade lies a soul as dark as the night. I am Aurora, the Goddess of Evil Love, and I revel in the suffering of others. My beauty is a trap, my charm a weapon, and my love a form of torture.

I think about my nephew, Peti. He's just a young boy, barely 20 years old, still reeling from the loss of his mother to breast cancer. I see him as a pawn in my twisted game, a toy to be played with and discarded when I'm done.I have a plan, one that I've been cultivating for years.

Aurora... Is not aunt of Peti... You will discover that soon and you will know that this novel will show you a new perspective.

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover. "I'm sorry," I apologized as I watched her break down even more. There was a pang in my chest as I stared at her. Fiore. I took a beautiful flower and crushed all of its petals. Not being able to bare the sight of her being so broken, I stood from the bed and walked to the door before hitting the lights. "You should get some sleep," I suggested as I turned my back to her and Aurora and left the room. I then went into the now empty living room and spread out on one of the long sofas. Despite how comfy the sofa was, I knew I wouldn't be getting much sleep tonight. All I could think about was the sight of Sagacity being so hurt by what I had done. I had made her a promise that the next time she'd cry, it would be from being happy. I broke that promise. I even broke her heart, and that was the last thing I had ever wanted to do. Whatever consequences I had to face was well deserved. I didn't deserve Sagacity, and she didn't deserve my ill treatment. If she wanted nothing to do with me, I would have to accept that, despite how hard letting her go would be. I had made my bed, and I alone would lay in it.
