A couple of hours ago I was innocently led to believe that I have a choice to make - to return to my hometown and open Pandora's Box with all the tragic events of 1998, or to continue my toilsome, but safe routine as a private detective in Berlin. Now I have realized the rather bitter truth - this choice was taken away from me long ago, along with my free will. The die was cast, the evils already released and the chains of the past that have kept me imprisoned for ten years were now alive and pulling me furiously back to Waldkirchen, threatening to tear me apart if I don't follow them and promising to destroy many other lives.
