The updated, revised and expanded version of Brunk and Calla's story.


Half-elf Calla has always felt like an outsider, even with her own mother. She never knew her father and despite being best friends with an orc lords son, her life in her village isn't exactly happy. She wants nothing more than to escape and be a monster hunter, but the wilds are no place for a woman alone. 

Brunk is the son of the orc lord and as such his days are filled with learning diplomacy and how to rule his families stretch of land. His days are boring and so are his nights. The only thing he looks forward to are his sparring fights with Calla and their visits to the town.

One night after far too many ales, Calla wakes in the bed of a visiting lords wife. When the lord find outs, he calls for Calla's head. Not wanting to see his friend killed, Brunk rescues her and they flee into the Wilds.

Together they embark on a journey of monster hunting and self discovery, finding not only the family they both wished they had, but a love that will make and break kingdoms.
