It's been a year since Elena Monroe, Daryl Dixon, and the rest of the group, alongside the Woodbury survivors, turned the Georgia correctional facility into a thriving community. It became a place of hope in a world of despair.

But peace doesn't last.

A deadly virus swept through the prison, killing many, and just as Rick and the group thought they had contained it, the Governor returned with a vengeance. His attack unleashed all-out war, and the prison fell. In the chaos, Elena, Daryl, and Beth escaped together, but they were left in the dark about the fate of the others.

When Beth is taken by unknown captors, Daryl and Elena are devastated. Their search leads them to Rick, Michonne, and Carl on the train tracks, and together they make their way to Terminus, where a shocking discovery awaits.
