Rem is used to being neglected. Because of this, he's lost his sense of wonder and has become motivationally challenged. Then one day, a talking jewel whisks him off to a high-fantasy world and tells him he can't go home until he delivers it to the rightful king. The problem? He's been labeled a criminal and the king has gone into hiding. So while Rem despises this fantasy setting, he is forced to endure while he hides from the law. Unbeknownst to him, the king he's looking for is right by his side, keeping tabs on his criminal activities as he decides what to do with the man.

Their game of predator and prey is soon exacerbated by an unfortunate combination of curses. Only time will tell if they are able to explore their feelings before they seal each other's fates, or if the forces of darkness manage to steal the jewel and use it for more nefarious purposes.
