Embark on a short story on how a newishly anointed god of death treads down the wrong path of their responsibility and deals with the consequences. Do they have the heart to be open to a better way? Maybe they could find something new, something different.

(This story is complete, will do some slight changes/fixes as feedback is received.)
(Also for those who like it, if there are a decent amount of ya, I am open to expanding the story and creating a sequel.)
