On his first trip to Ottawa, Chicago Police Detective Ray Vecchio just wanted to get a medal and a little hero treatment for saving a train full of Mounties. But when terrorists take the Canadian Prime Minister hostage, it's up to Ray and a couple of unarmed Mounties to save the day.

Set in 1996. Takes place between season 2 and season 3 of Due South. Written for the Due South Seekrit Santa 2024 gift exchange.

I'm experimenting with serialized posting on Wattpad but the entire story is complete on AO3 if you don't want to wait for the next installment.
