("The Great Gatsby" but on crack, and then make it YA and wlw)
Sixteen-year-old Sawyer Murphy's life has been stitched together with loss. The latest blow-her mother's death-leaves Sawyer and her sisters, Hazel and Stella, leaning on their uncle Jacob and his husband Levi for stability. But shadows loom, and one of them, Uncle Anthony, carries cruelty wherever he goes.
The Murpheys belong to "Society" , a charity group of elite, high-class wealthy families. Sawyer's best friend, Cassie McKay, was born into this world as well. Sawyer's home becomes her escape, but their friendship bleeds into something deeper, messier.
Choosing to stay home from boarding school, Sawyer searches for normalcy among the cracks of her shattered family. But everything shifts when a sudden disappearance leaves only a cryptic letter behind.
Sawyer and Cassie push into the unknown, untangling secrets that lie buried beneath the weight of loyalty and betrayal . Each revelation unravels corruption in the only world they've ever known, and details a love they can't quite name but can't turn away from either.

Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. But one night something happens which finally pushes him over the edge, and as a result, he leaves his house the next morning with two things: his mother's gun and a plan. Living with a neglectful and drug addicted mother wasn't easy for Jay, and it definitely didn't help that his father abandoned the family while he was still a child. He harbored a hatred toward his parents, and that hatred extended to almost everyone and everything around him, producing a very troubled and damaged young kid. As Jay enters high school, he becomes very intrigued with one of his classmates. Kind of obsessed, actually. Her name: Mikayla Keeler. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.

"Why is it always 'why' with you? Grow up already! Not all people are alike. You're good, I'm evil, you're naïve, I know how things are, and you're an idiot while I'm brilliant." With the jungle and Snitch Gravel left behind, Sam Grant thought the crazier part of life was over and he could now focus on his secret agent training and getting to know his new brothers. Before he can even get used to safety and comfort, everything goes downhill: his father goes ballistic, his cousin disappears and him and his brothers are called in to rescue a fellow agent from Snitch Gravel's base. Aside from sending them to battle countless henchmen, the Agency is also keen to keep them in the dark about their most important project - a project Sam and his brothers play a vital part in. Once again on the road, Sam must figure out how to do something he's never done before: infiltrate Snitch Gravel's base stealthily and come out unscathed. *** The story is completed. Sequel to Too Young Even if it's the second book in a series, the story is pretty stand-alone-ish. There are many characters, but it's easy to get the gist of them.
