Shadow was created to be a cure and forced to be a weapon, but now he has to forge a new path beneath the shadow of Space Colony Ark and the spectre of White Space. Meanwhile, G.U.N. is suffering a dire public image crisis, and their actions force Shadow to reckon with his past and Maria's legacy once again.
Can Shadow find a new way to fight for humanity in spite of G.U.N.'s machinations, or was he destined to be a weapon all along?

The prototype is supposed to send the person either forward or backwards in time, something the Commander seems obsessed with. However, something goes wrong and Shadow is teleported into an alternate Universe. As Shadow tries to find a way back home, he is roped into a crazy adventure. And a romance he never thought could happen. ------- I know I already have a story with the same name but I decided to re-write it. It was about damn time too. Dr. Starline created a weapon which causes people to fall into a 'death like' slumber, and when Sonic's friends succumb to the evil, Sonic's dark side will take over, unfortunately causing the villain and two other innocent Mobians get killed by leftover rubble. Sonic is drenched with guilt but covers it up with a fake smile. Tails, Rouge and Shadow can tell something is wrong, but aren't quite sure. What happens when the guilt gets the best of him?
