Virtues (Marino's Hell #1)
"What do you want?" I ask the men standing in front of me. All of them are wearing black jackets with matching jeans and masks. Before my suit-clad form, they look heavily underdressed.
"We want what you have." They state simply, their guns pointed towards me as I stand there nonchalantly. My right hand is on my waistband, ready to pull out my weapon as I prepare for war.
"You can never have what I have. Who even told you I am here?" My eyebrows are drawn together and I know for a fact that this won't end well.
"That's none of your business. We want it at any cost or else, be ready to die." All of them walk towards me together. I pull out my gun, aiming between the eyes of the man who is the master of this ring. However, before I can pull the trigger, I feel a thud in my head. Blood seeps from my forehead as the man who was talking to me curses.
"Die, motherfucker." He pulls the trigger!
