Venturing Hollows

A Long time ago, the world witnessed an era of darkness and chaos; grey clouds of misery loomed over every part of the land and sea, leaving not even a single ray of sunshine pass through,

Demons and monsters ran unchecked, preying on any soul unfortunate enough to cross their path,

Yet one day, something powerful was born among the weak, a human, a man who stood proud and courageous, his resolve to save his kind birthed the beginning of a new era, an era of freedom and peace, it was his unyielding will and emotion that paved a path and gave way for the existence of an entity called a soulflare,

Sentient beings of power born from the very emotions and will of their humans, each one unique and equally terrifying, with their help, humans began to slowly build a safehaven for all of those who seek protection from savage beasts and monsters,

Centuries passed and that little safehaven became what is now known as the human world, society progressed and so did the people's will to venture out onto the darklands beyond the boundaries,

Those who have the resolve to do so, are called the hollowmens, hollows for short, people with extraordinary flares with the aim to further the progress of mankinds potential and cease the reign of monsters on the other side,

Many ambitious hollows have perished for this dream, yet with each life taken, more and more are intrigued to take on this vast quest to conquer the lands beyond that of humans,
This story is about a hollowmen, a single human boy-age not more than 17-and how he ventured beyond the boundary along with his peers-a group of misfits each with different goals of their own, yet their will and resolve are equally firm, this is a story of betrayal, friendship, love, and tragedy
