ALL CLOVE LANES EVER KNOWN WAS WAR AND ABANDONMENT. Clove was 3 years-old, when her parents, Connell and Felicia Lanes, were slaughtered by the Enforcers during Undercity's rebellion. She was 11 the next time she lost someone, an explosion which wiped out her brothers and adoptive father.

After witnessing an explosion, Clove and her twin sister were abandoned by their sister, Vi. Silco, most notorious and fearsome mobster leader in Zaun, took the Lanes sisters in and raised them as his own.

Clove is still grieving over her long-lost sister and her former adoptive family. She hates the war between Piltover and Zaun, she wants nothing to do with the war and Silco.
