Fiyero Tigelaar arrives with no purpose at all-crown prince of a distant land, bored and golden, skating through life with no real convictions. What begins as mutual disdain-her seeing him as frivolous and shallow, him seeing her as severe and joyless-slowly, almost imperceptibly, begins to shift. Across debates in class, awkward partner projects, and sleepless nights in the library, they begin to chip away at each other's walls. But the world is changing. Politics are fracturing. Secrets come to light. And the more they see of each other, the more dangerous their feelings become. To love Elphaba is to walk into the storm. Fiyero, for once, doesn't look away.
