The Star and Her Daughter

Eight-year-old Sadie Petsch had always known her mother, Madelaine, as the person who makes her laugh, helps her through difficult days, and makes home feel like home. But in 2016, everything begins to change when Madelaine lands the role of Cheryl Blossom in a new television series called Riverdale.

As Madelaine steps into a career changing opportunity, Sadie finds herself entering a world she never expected to be part of. Auditions, filming, press events, new friendships, and long days on set slowly become part of their lives. While Madelaine embraces her opportunity, she also has to figure out how to balance her growing career with being the mother Sadie needs.

When Riverdale premieres on The CW in January 2017, Madelaine's life changes almost overnight. Suddenly, her mother is becoming recognized everywhere, and Sadie has to adjust to having a mom whose career is attracting more and more attention.

Through the excitement, challenges, and unexpected changes that comes with fame, Madelaine and Sadie learn that no matter how bright the spotlight becomes, their bond as mother and daughter will always be the most important part of their lives.
