After the tragic deaths of her parents, Kaori Suzuki finds herself being sent back to the home country of her parents - Japan. Struggling with the language and finding it difficult to make friends, Kaori leans into the one thing she's always been good at: volleyball. With a dying girls' team, she finds herself making the Karasuno Boys' High School Volleyball team, meeting a ragtag group of incredibly talented players. As the team gets better and better, she finds herself in contact with boys from opposing teams as well (including a certain boy with frosted tips). Will a budding relationship get in the way of Karasuno's regained taste for victory?
