The Old-Fashioned Way

Levi Sanders is a young, gay boy in a conservative city. When he is caught kissing his "best friend" he is placed in the hands of Dr. Gerickson, a psychiatrist who runs his own mental ward on the edge of the world. As he goes through horrific ways to be cured of his so called illness, Levi meets Eliana, a girl who lives up to her terrible reputation, Finn, a suicidal killer, and Ash, an abuse haunted PTSD patient, of whom he tries to understand their way of seeing life. Trying to fight his treatment and struggling to find a way to report the on goings in the torture house, he makes unlikely friends and goes to extreme measures to convince the doctor of his purity.
