"Something is lurking in the Sunflower Fields"

Sunflower Moon is an urban-supernatural tale of a small town in rural New Mexico (Sunflower Springs) with a long history of werewolf legends, spanning back to the colonization of the Americas. Our main character, Mason, is a seventeen-year-old boy of indigenous Mexican descent, who has been convinced to spend his senior year with his estranged and terminally ill father, and he's not happy about it.

However, as soon as he develops new close friendships and relationships with those in his peer group, he believes a year in Sunflower Springs won't be so bad. That is until he is bitten by a mysterious creature at night and finds himself tangled in a web of corruption, death, and the paranormal that threatens to trap him within the Sunflower Fields for eternity. Can Mason uncover the mystery behind the horrors that plague the small town, or will he and everyone he cares about be devoured by the black hole growing within it?
