"Sir, she's still out there?" Roni asked, voice cautious. Reyansh didn't look up. "Who?" he asked indifferently. "The same woman," Roni said. "The one you lov-" Reyansh gave him a sharp look, and Roni quickly corrected himself. "I mean, the one who loves you." Reyansh paused for a moment, then muttered under his breath, "Chahat," as his eyes drifted toward the window. The weather was getting worse by the minute. Outside, Chahat was still standing there, eyes bloodshot, her posture unchanged, her body barely moving despite the rain. As he reached her, he grabbed her by the shoulder, "What are you doing?" he yelled, voice sharp. "What have I told you? I told you not to meet me. Don't you understand anything? I don't love you. I've asked for nothing but for you to feel this love, to understand what beats within me. But what I desire more than anything is for you to see me, truly see me. You rejected me, and still, my heart refused to turn away. It brought me here, through the storm, through the waiting, because love-real love-makes you do the impossible. It leads you to places you never thought you'd go, makes you stay quite when everything else tells you to leave." Her voice trembled with the weight of her words, each one an echo of the love that poured from Her eyes spoke more than her words "You would've ruined yourself. Chahat smiled softly, her voice whispering with a hint of resignation. --"hum barbaad hona chahatein hain" (I'd want to ruin myself for you). "Go change." She flashed a playful smile, twirling as if the rain had no effect on her, and began singing softly, "Hui main teri joganiya.......joganiya....
