Vera Gray is desperate when her father blindsides her with the news that he cannot make her upcoming tuition payment. She has only a week to come up with $25,000 for her tuition, or she will be forced to drop her courses. Just when all hope seems lost, her roommate and best friend, Monica, suggests she join a sugar baby site called Sugar Rush. Although Vera is initially repulsed by the idea of becoming a sugar baby, she sets aside her reservations with Monica's encouragement and decides to sign up for the app.
Hart Myers, star forward for the Washington Wizards, may be smooth on the ice, but he struggles in his relationships with women.
