"The Half-Blood Daughter"
Transferring in my fifth year. What a joke. Just when I thought life couldn't get more complicated, here I am at Hogwarts-home of the nosiest people on the planet. Nobody even knew Severus Snape had a daughter, and honestly, I don't blame him for keeping it that way.
It's not like we have much in common. He's brooding, cold, and terrifying. I, on the other hand, somehow manage to turn heads wherever I go. Beautiful, confident, and maybe just a little too cocky for my own good-yeah, I know. People love to stare, whispering, How could someone like her be his daughter? Trust me, I've asked myself the same thing.
Blaise Zabini knows exactly what it's like to live under the shadow of our parents. We've been friends for as long as I can remember, mostly because our parents have always known each other. He gets it. We both do.
Still, there's a lot more to me than meets the eye. Beneath the smirks and the attitude, I'm just trying to figure out where I fit in all of this. My name might be Snape, but I'm not him. I'm Astrid, and whether Hogwarts is ready or not, this year is going to change everything.
