You may know Tox as the girl with green hair. You may know her as a side character, a silent character, a character who serves no real purpose. But everyone has a backstory. It's time she got hers.
In the heart of the island of Ninjago, nineteen-year-old Toxin Belladonna is in the crossroads of her destiny and heritage. When her father was horrifically murdered by a group called the Eleven, she discovered a dark plot created by the very same group who intended to steal the very elemental powers that defined their world to make a new world with stolen elements.
Haunted by her father's death and desperate to prove that she is just as worthy as he was, Tox sets out on a dangerous path to unlock her own dormant power: the power to control poison itself. As she dives deeper into her dangerous power, the legacy she simultaneously fears and desperately wants becomes that much more intoxicating. As she tries to master this poison and stop the Eleven, she must tread the fine line between strength and vulnerability, loyalty and betrayal, all while the very future of Ninjago is hanging in the balance.
