Retired fighter pilot Cherry Pratt struggled to find purpose after getting her wings clipped by an injury. When a paramilitary company offers her a job to fly again, she can barely believe her luck. Initially, the offer seems too good to be true but as jobs start rolling in, it starts becoming apparent that she's finally found her place. That is, until the company gets caught up in a vicious war on two different fronts. As the situation deteriorates, Cherry and her comrades find themselves fighting more for survival than a paycheck while grappling with the ethics of influencing a war that isn't theirs. As suicide mission after suicide mission comes in from command, Cherry has to decide if her passion for flying is strong enough to die for.
