This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. For as long as you could remember, you had been alone for your whole life, staring at stars in the dead of night to try and feel at least a little closer to home. There was another person on this planet that was also alone and in almost the same situation as you, but that was different, this was different. You had been sent to Earth to protect him from the shadows, and you didn't plan on getting involved with him by any means. You were his guardian angel that he didn't even know existed, and you planned on keeping it that way. Well, at least you tried. After a while of watching the boy talk to himself and pout while kicking rocks, muttering how alone he was, you eventually found the heart to reveal yourself.
