Before we begin, let me introduce the main characters in the story.

Lucas, 16, lives in Australia with parents Rowan and Adeline Davis. Having no siblings, he yearns for brotherly companionship, but his parents cannot provide this. To combat boredom, Lucas focuses on their vast farm, caring for animals and interacting with farm workers.

The two individuals developed a profound and enduring friendship, characterized by a deepening emotional connection and strengthened bond.

Ethan hesitates sharing personal struggles and problems with his parents, fearing indifference. His brother, Jacob, however, senses changes and occasionally snoops into Ethan's belongings to uncover the truth.
