After defeating Volpina, The Dupain-Cheng siblings  finally come face to face with the Guardian of The Miracle Box, Master Wang Fu.  As they train to become the next guardians,  Matthew y finds out that the phoenix miraculous is connected to a powerful, and dangerous beast known as The Phoenix Titan, who has been sealed away for centuries due to its power being abused.

He is tasked with bonding with her, or the Earth will be destroyed.

As his bond with Brianna continues, Marinette not only grows jealous of the two, but becomes conflicted with her own feelings towards Adrien and a certain cyan haired guitarist.

With a dangerous threat approaching, Matthew's  life, both as a civilian and as a vigilante superhero, becomes more and more complicated. 

 Especially when an arrogant rich boy  harasses Brianna  and the fate of the world rests on his shoulders.
