Just as the title says, this story is about "the next adventure" of Remus and Sirius. After their deaths, they meet Lily and James in the afterlife and get to know each other on a different level. This afterlife is made up freely by me and has no religious background. Mistakes are allowed to be corrected in the comments, this is the first version which I will edit again when the story is done.

And why on earth was I telling him? Book 2 - year 3 of a series about the marauders from Lily Evans POV. Lily Evans gets a second change in life to change her past and therefor the future of all those around her. Unfortunately, she has forgotten what will happen to her future self. She has no idea why she has nightmares about a deer, black dog and rat or why she has all these strange memories of older versions of herself and the annoying Gryffindors she's supposed to hate. After all, being a Slytherin comes with some prejudices. This story will take place during the marauders time at Hogwarts, all seven years and a few years after, during the war. Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within. All I hope is that these stories can bring you joy, entertainment or even just a short escape as they did for me all those years ago.

What do we do now?
After the death of James and Lily, marking the end of the war, how will life change for those who loved them? Remus is stuck wondering what to do next, Y/n is in the exact same boat. With all their friends dead or imprisoned and both being denied custody of baby Harry, what will these two mere acquaintances do? When everything seems so hopeless how will they make life worthwhile? Will they be able to just continue on with life without their friends and knowing that Harry is stuck living an unhappy life he doesn't deserve? Of all the things that they could do, running away is the least helpful, but that's exactly what they do anyways.
