My name is Raymon Omens, or Ray for short, and this is how I ended up in a strange land while searching for my mother, Sarah Omens.
In 2006, when I was just seven years old, my mother vanished. She had set sail on an expedition with her sister and friends, but two weeks into the journey, my father lost contact with her boat. A search crew was dispatched, but nothing was found. The last thing we heard from her was a cryptic message: "What in the hell is that?!" followed by what sounded like a roar.
Now, in 2018, I'm nineteen, and I'm setting out to discover what happened to her.
