"How is this yours to give?" Without Bard's eyes focused on the Arkenstone before his hands, I had to avert my gaze as well, as now I merely saw his dark wavy hair on the back of his head.
Gandalf threw me a strange look, but I kept
it down - there was no way I'd talk about whatever he was thinking about talking to me with, when a hobbit and a human were in the room with us.
"I took it as my fourteenth share of the treasure." Said hobbit replied, and when the wizard's face finally found another target with him and smiled softly, I felt relieved at the fact I wasn't being so closely monitored by his eyes anymore.
"Why would you do this? You owe us no loyalty." Have my ears been tricked by some spell, or did he really say 'us'?
OR
Thranduil answers Bard's call of help when he asks for it, and learns that he isn't quite as heartless as everyone thought him to be.
