You're the only daughter (and princess) of a notorious royal family in Japan, and ever since you were a little girl, you've loved soccer/football with all your heart! Playing the sport has been your passion for as long as you can remember, but your family hasn't been supportive. Your father and older brother always dismissed it as a "man's sport," refusing to let you play, while your mother constantly tried to push you toward more "girly" hobbies.
But you never gave up. Soccer/Football was your dream, and no one could take that away from you. You practiced in secret, joined soccer/football clubs, and honed your skills despite the odds.
One day, a strange letter arrives by the guards addressed to your brother, inviting him to a mysterious all-boys soccer/football facility called Blue Lock. Seeing this as your chance to prove yourself, you make a bold decision: disguise yourself as your brother and enter the program. In a place where only one dream can matter, you'll stop at nothing to chase yours.
(Now, I don't want to tell young audiences that they can't read this (because even if I did, they probably wouldn't listen and read it anyway). So, young audiences, you can read this, but I will put up disclaimers in chapters that have inappropriate content in them! So, if you want to skip over them, feel free to do so.
I own none of these characters and all rights of Blue Lock go to Muneyuki Kaneshiro, Yusuke Nomura, and whoever made the wallpaper/poster I used for the cover of this book, it belongs to them, not me! And any images/GIFs I use go to their rightful owners!
If I make any spelling mistakes or any mistakes in general, comment and just let me know! Also just comment in general if you'd like. I love to laugh (y'all are funny I swear)!
When Jinpachi Ego asks his younger sister to manage Blue Lock from the inside, she hesitates. Does she really want to be stuck with sweaty, football obsessed high school boys? Not at all. However, as soon as he promises to buy her as many different lollipops as he can obtain, even ones imported from different continents, she instantly agrees.
Junri Ego has been into sports since she came out the womb. Name a sport, she's mastered it. Volleyball, tennis, basketball, swimming, hockey. But out of all the sports she's played, football was the one which intrigued her the most. How can a striker be, at times, so disconnected with their team when football is supposed to be a team sport?
She wanted to see how strikers think. She wanted to see how they worked. She wanted to see how they truly treated other players. Being with her boyfriend, Itoshi Sae, wasn't enough to dull her curiosity. She wanted to know more. Besides, he left to play in another country and hasn't come back in a while.
Will Junri finally understand how strikers work? Read to find out.
