This series was originally written for AO3 as a collection of short stories, vignettes, tales, guidebook entries, and a bunch of other bits and guffins that didn't really fit anywhere else. Functioning as a general-purpose anthology series, it explores the Other Realms and includes stories from various settings such as Inglenook, Edelmund, Dorriya, the Grim Grove and Grimshaw, and more.

Chapters 1 to 11 are part of "season 1", while chapters 12 and on were released after monthly updates started with "season 2" on 1/1/2025. As of season 2, this series updates with new issues on the 15th of every month.

This is a living book of short stories that will grow over time. It may not all be in this first book of stories, but in follow-on tomes. These stories are all based in the universe of "Pearls of the Mother," the same universe from which the "Duncan and Lilly" stories live. Some of these stories may overlap, and some may be continuations of another, but they are all part of the same universe. I created these as part of my "World Building and Backstory" system, and I've come to love them just as much as the books. I hope you will, too. It's the year 3097 and the human civilization from long before was erased. Earth was destroyed. All from before gone, the solar system humans used to be in atleast. That said, some humans managed to escape and colonize a new planet inresided different races out of a fantasy book or game or something. Years go on and it's the year 4040, the few humans from before integrated into the new life, so these other species meet a new clan, The Humans, and just like before, they live to take what doesn't belong to them, difference being this is a new generation, meaning old technology once more. We follow two individuals, Arya Chatowä and Elrod Grim. It's up to these two to unit the many clans of Vita Viridi. a different solar system with the technology they had, upon arrival, those humans weren't the only ones, on this planet.
