Felicity Malfoy grows up in a world full of expectations and intrigue. He slowly begins to see behind Felicity's cool facade, and an unexpected connection develops between the two that changes their view of the world.

When Sirius Black escapes from Azkaban and Hogwarts is thrown into turmoil, Felicity becomes entangled in a web of secrets and lies. In search of answers, she follows Harry, Ron and Hermione to the hut - and there meets Sirius himself. In a moment of truth, he reveals that she is not the Malfoy daughter, but his daughter. The realization turns Felicity's life upside down and forces her to question everything she thought she knew.

But the truth does not stay hidden for long. When Lucius Malfoy learns that Felicity knows that she is descended from Sirius, he begins to make her life at Hogwarts hell. Between the anger of the Malfoys, the intrigues in Slytherin and her growing feelings for Fred, Felicity must decide who she really wants to be. Does she have the courage to break free from the shadows of her past and go her own way? Or will she remain trapped in the chains of the Malfoys?
