Claire Beddors is one of many descendants who grew up underground since their grandparents or great grandparents were able to make it to the bunkers to survive the destruction of the Thanatos Comet and the deadly radiation that followed. They're the only ones left. The ones who made it and survived.

But now it is finally safe to go outside. The radiation levels have gone seriously down, and it's time to go back out there and make a life, repopulate the Earth, and start anew.
