Dorian is a cold and introverted 29 year old, whose social skills are abysmal, and being a shapeshifter doesn't make it any better. Now, when he moves to a new apartment, things are... off. First of all, people have gone missing before, and the shadows at night don't seem to stay put... And on top of that, his neighbor, Lillith. Lillith is different than most, she doesn't seem to ever come out in daylight, always is saying odd things, and seems to enjoy annoying Dorian. Can he figure what she's hiding, and find out why nothing seems right in his complex?

Evelyn Sinclair never needed a man to protect her. As the eldest daughter of a family obsessed with appearances, she learned early that emotions were a weakness and that strength came from standing alone. But when her parents start pressuring her to settle down, the last person she expects to be caught in a fake relationship with is Dorian Valtor-her long-time rival, the only man capable of getting under her skin, and the one person she swore she'd never fall for. Dorian Valtor has spent his entire life living up to impossible expectations. As the eldest son of a powerful dynasty, he's learned to manipulate situations to his advantage. When his parents demand he finds a serious partner, he makes a reckless decision-fake dating Evelyn Sinclair. She's infuriating, impossible, and the only woman immune to his charm. But the longer they pretend, the thinner the line between real and fake becomes. And when Dorian starts calling her "Sin," it's more than a nickname-it's a warning. Because the rules of their deal were clear. No emotions. No attachments. No breaking the illusion. But he's always been the type to break rules for her. And Evelyn? She might just let him.
