Years later, time has changed them both. Lancaster has been suddenly crowned the crown prince. He grew to live fighting for his worth on the throne, knowing full well he could never be as good as his brothers that abandoned it. Phiri, on the other hand, had been tormented by the very blood running in her veins: the blood of the beast. Her eyes would turn to slits, her nails to claws and her laughter to hideous growl.
What never really changed was that when she smiles, he would stop, stare at her, and the world just magically disappears without knowing why.
But what should happen, when the beast inside her has finally gone out in the open, causing havoc and mayhem and the only home she ever knew becomes a strange, unfamiliar place?
And what would become of the crown when its bearer could earn it no more? Even more so when he left the kingdom to bring back the only girl who'd matter more than everything he's ever known--though he never realized it himself.
