Through He Who Strengthens Me: Avarice

Our current world destroyed and reshaped to a darker time. With a new looming threat called The Monolith. A world where gods have descended from heaven to help their descendants and followers. One man, who wishes to follow his father's footsteps, challenges it. Using his faith alone to this forgotten God, will he be able to conquer The Monolith? Will he receive support from this god he follows which he only found out about through books of the old world. Most importantly, is this god even around to begin with?
